Semimaraton Iași is the largest outdoor sports event in north-east Romania. Every kilometre run pays for a school day for a child in need, so the race is as much about solidarity as it is about time.
What we had to solve
The event had grown into a real community, and its old look no longer matched that energy. The new identity had to speak to runners of every age and turn the act of running into a symbol people outside the sport would recognise too.
What we noticed
People don’t sign up only to compete. They come for the feeling of moving together for a cause. The identity needed to look like a movement, open and joyful, with room for everyone.
How it came to life
For 2025 we changed direction completely. A playful hand-drawn mascot carries the energy of the run, backed by a bold graphic style, vivid colour and a modular system that worked on everything from Instagram to finisher medals.

What changed
2,884 people ran in 2025 and the race raised €20,000 for vulnerable children. The event now has an identity that matches the community around it.
